Week 11 : Spark and Fire.

It was a Monday as always I got in the class early. She began asking about the progress on Osborne checklist every team. We had a few were waiting for our turn and while we were waiting, we were also trying to solve issues with our prototype project. We managed to do a mess-up this time during a inner meeting session during class. For some reason we didn't get an entry request from our tutor, therefore we were not able to make her partake in the discussion. After deciding on Osborn Checklist we went on checking assets on UE Market place which we would be using in the game. Later that wee we had a meeting with Ahmed Abo Bakar. We took him through our prototype code. That day we focused on Vishnu's Game play control code. He introduced us to a new concept in programming which is know on as "Delegation over Inheritance". By which it means that a child class can be given a freedom of having different functions from the parent if we couple the functionalities through delegation rather than implementations in the parent class. Bakar asked us if we are interested to apply for job vacancy which we said yes, so we send him all our CVs. I got called from the place and they said well get back to you soon.

As the submission due that week we were asked to compile all our project development files into a folder and share the link. We came across a predicament on how to submit our hack'n'plan project backlogs as the API for converting it to excel sheet returned an ugly looking excel sheet. So what we decided was to make screenshots of the project and put it in the project submission folder. So asper the requirement for the unit we are supposed to present 3 iteration and 1 final submission. But earlier in a discussion with our tutor we decided that we are going for 2 iteration and we finalize on the 3rd. so for confirmation we talked with Bakar about this and he said we are good with our progress as we manage to do a lot of micro iterations throughout the prototype development.
