Smooth Replacement

That week our programming tutor was unable to appear for the class, so the class was cancelled. but that week I attended the class with our design tutor Mr. Hamza, and it was quiet interesting. but before he began teaching, he did a progress check with all the team. the other team were demoing their project and I should admit that they were making good progress. I love their honey-comb looking hexagon tile map based movement mechanics. the character models and animation were very cartoonish which is also something I liked.

Anyways, when it came our turn we honestly didn't have much progress to show to the teacher in terms level design, aesthetics components and game play. personally as a take away I learned a few thing out of this partially satisfactory situation. which is lack of research and failure to convey the common goal and interest can break the task/project undertaken by the team. The only solution I can formulate is to create a position which acts as an element which helps in bonding between every member in the particular team. recreationally activities or friendly and thought provoking debates surrounding funny topics could help in creating scenarios were all the individual share a same data regarding the certain subject, which in terns develops commonness among the team mates. Once our teacher found out the lack of understanding of our designer about the function, form and propose of using modular pieces, he opened Blender 3D and modeled a wall and a floor tile out of two cubes. he named the meshes appropriately and asked us to make a simple level using these pieces, and we did so. once we showed him the result he went back and added more details to the wall and the floor tile, after uploading the models to google drive, he asked us to reimport the new model set into our unity project. once we did and all the previous models has been replaced with the new one. I didn't know of this technique, but once I did I am able to think of a lot of possibility and work flows were I could use this method.
